How to find INNER PEACE: A Road Towards Finding Oneself

How to find INNER PEACE

In Today's world of chaos and digitisation, we hardly have enough time for ourselves. This is the very reason even after achieving all the material goals a person can certainly think about, still they are poor inside. bringing inner peace would not only help you out at work but it's going to make you a better person.

So, hang on with us and follow these few and simple steps to bring inner peace into your life-

Set limits:

If your life is not going the way you wanted it to be then my friend you need to set some limits to the least important things in your life.

Set a limit for how many times you would check your Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, emails, etc. per day so that you could have more time for the things that matter the most to you.

Find a relaxation technique that works for you:

I like to meditate and work out to release my tensions and recharge myself during the day. What works for you? Long walks, music, yoga or a swim? Find out and do that.

Don't take difficult jobs too hard on you:

When you are facing a very difficult task, ask yourself, would it help me in the near future to become more skillful?

Ask these questions to yourself when facing these problems, and my friend it will help you a lot to realize that things might not be that bad and that you can handle them easily.

Slow down:

Your emotions work backward too. If you slow down while walking or talking you could often start to feel less stressed as compared to when moving or talking too fast.

Slowing down to decrease stress goes for many things such as riding your bicycle, working at your desk and eating. Try it out, you would feel much better relaxed.

Use a minimalistic workspace:

My workspace is just a laptop on a wooden desk, a comfortable chair and just enough room for a glass of water. That is all it takes to make up my workspace.

what I wanted to suggest is that, make your workspace as clean as possible and don't take too many things, just 2-3 important ones and make sure to have no distractions involved. It helps a lot to focus on.

Be 10 minutes early:

It's a small habit, to begin with, but it had made me feel much more confident and relaxed in many areas of life.

Whether you're going for a class, football practice or anywhere make sure to be there 10 minutes early. Imagine you're running late for a class then it's sure to happen that you start thinking all of a sudden, where should I sit? is anyone going to let me sit beside them? what others might even say, " look he's late again, what a loser." These thoughts come to everyone's mind when they're late at some point in time, giving stress to the person and sometimes leading them to go into depression.

Well, better have precautions early.

Accept and let go:

Now is the present, but if something horrible from the past haunts you till date, don't try to forget it. Try to embrace it and accept it. Life would be much easier this way.

Escape for a while:

focusing on work, day in and day out becomes stressful after a while. So take one day off and watch all your favorite TV-shows or movies. It helps you to become alive again and relaxes your brain a lot after so much work.

Disconnect over the weekend:

Leave your work and work phone where it belongs. Disconnect or at least limit your internet activity and checking your phone over the weekend.

Spend your Saturdays and Sundays with your family, friends, hobbies or maybe being simply in nature but not within the digital world. It makes you become more productive in your work days.

Breathe:

When you are stressed out with your problems, haunted by the memory of the past, or just simply worried about the future. Just relax. Take a deep breath and just relax. Sometimes not bothering about the problem is much better than being worried about it all the time.

That's all there is to it. If you strictly follow these few simple rules, you are bound to find your inner peace and live a prosperous and healthy life.
