1 - Give colors to the room
The best way to add personality to the bedroom is to dress up the walls. And contrary to popular belief, it also works in a small room. Dress the wall facing the front door in a darker color: this will visually expand the space. If you have a paint background, then use it to paint an accent wall. Don't have enough? The trend is for patterns. Grab your masking tape roll, draw a simple geometric pattern or a horizontal or vertical stripe, paint, and voila!

2 - Dare to divert an object!
There is no need to shop in the “bedroom decorator” section to furnish the room: you can make do with what you have on hand, or with parts that your loved ones want to get rid of. If you have a  140x190 box spring and mattress set , but you are missing the headboard, use

3 - Get started in a recovery operation
Adept at minimalism, maybe you don't have anything lying around neither in the cellar or in the attic? In this case, head to the nearest site or market: you will find a whole bunch of material there to be thrown away. However, there is enough to make canon pieces for the bedroom! Simple wooden crates can double as a bedside table or stacked together to create smart extra storage. As for the pallets… from the headboard to the complete bed frame, they allow the creation of tailor-made, sublime and functional creations.

4 - Take out the Christmas decoration
The bright ambience is a key element in creating a peaceful and romantic atmosphere in the bedroom. And when it comes to simple and very decorative lighting, nothing better than garlands! So take out your box of Christmas decorations, and catch the fairy lights that lit up your end-of-year celebrations! Depending on their design, you can simply wrap them around the headboard or curtain rod, or slip them into a Dame Jeanne or under a glass globe.

5 - Take a walk in the woods - or by the beach!
Nature is full of nuggets to create very pretty decorations - especially for the bedroom. Whether you are used to strolling on the beach, in the countryside or in the forest, you will find something to create a decor to your taste. A piece of cut cardboard and some seashells or pebbles, and here is a very nice frame. A nice cut branch of wood or a piece of driftwood, some rope, and you have enough to create a mini-walk-in closet.

6 - use dried flowers
For a long time “has been”, dried flowers have become very trendy again. You can therefore make your own bouquets. For a bedroom with a decidedly trendy decor, forget about the vase: rather casually hang your bouquet on a coat hook or on the window handle. And if a little DIY doesn't scare you, make a pretty wreath.

7 - Print your prettiest memories
Nothing like a few wall decorations to warm up the atmosphere of the room. And for a unique and cozy decor, there's nothing like staging your best memories! Print your favorite photos - preferably in varying formats - and create your wall composition. If you don't have any frames on hand, just use a roll of masking tape to showcase your favorite photographs.
