Integrate Teams with Power BI: Discover its benefits

In addition to what we have just discussed, this integration also offers  the employee new functionalities and these can be found in different ways on the platform: 

Attach  Power  BI content to a  T eams chat : Thanks to this integration you can attach a report ,  dashboard  or workspace  that you have published in  Power BI Suppoert Service  in   the same way you would attach an image or a document. To do this, you simply need to click on the  Power  BI icon that is available below the type bar within any chat. 

Add a Power BI report in an individual or group tab:  In individual and group chats, you can add different tabs to have the most important information in a simpler and more direct way. These tabs are located above the chat next to the name of the user or group and by default Teams includes the chat and files sections when it comes to a group and adds organization and activity in the individual ones. 

Now thanks to the integration of Power Bi with Teams one of these tabs can be a Power BI report. To integrate it, you just have to click on the + symbol and select, first, the BI tool and then the specific report that you want to add to that chat. 

Integrate  Power  BI  Service  in Microsoft  Teams : Teams has a side navigation   bar  on the left in which there are different activity sections, chats, notifications ... Thanks to this integration you can include  Power  BI in this sidebar, so that you can access the Power  BI  service from T eams  without opening the desktop app or browser.   

To do this ,  just click the three dots at the bottom of the  T eams navigation bar , search for the Power  BI tool ,  and  click integrate  . Done!  With  just  a few clicks you will have your BI application  on  your  T eams platform .
