How to Power BI combined with Excel?

As Microsoft announced, it will soon stop supporting its Silverlight technology, and with it, Power View visualizations available from Excel will stop working. But many visualization needs can be met with  Power BI for Desktop in combination with native Excel charts because they are designed to work together.
Excel is a powerful and flexible tool for performing analysis. With Power BI the collection, formatting, analysis and exploration of key business data is made easier and faster.
Thus, you can create interactive dashboards by easily transferring all Excel tables, data models and reports to Power BI.

With Power BI, you enjoy the benefits of the cloud

There are many technologies available to save data, but Excel remains the most popular. But if Excel is very versatile, it has a disadvantage: everything remains local. With Power BI , you can view, analyze and share Excel files on the web and in this case the cloud providing security in terms of backup.
Although collaboration is an important driver of agility and productivity today, many of us use Excel in a limited way. Once we've finished preparing our data and created the corresponding visualizations, we proceed to share the file with others (usually as an email attachment). Then, if there is a bug in the Excel sheet or a change is made, it is sent back by email. This is obviously not the best way to proceed, since it involves having to manage different versions and leads to saturating the network with unnecessary load.
With Power BI, we can see the Excel sheet as it is, select a chart and share it with others. Once the Excel file is published to Power BI, it is very easy to reflect the changes made to the original by publishing it again.

Power BI + Dynamics 365 + Dataverse: an equally winning combination

Modern enterprise systems, such as Dynamics 365, use aggregated data types such as Dataverse to simplify operations and intercommunication between applications. This data can be entered, put into an Excel table and explored using familiar tools, and formatted, resulting in insights and algorithms that can be used across the enterprise.

With Power BI, you can secure access to sensitive information

Because Power BI supports Microsoft's information protection tools, so-called sensitive (personal, confidential) information may only be accessible to authorized users.
