It’s clear skies, calm waters along with extremely rich and well-preserved marine life and coral reefs make this place one of the best places to visit in Andaman and also the most preferred destination for activities like snorkeling, swimming, scuba diving, boating, and parasailing.

Neil Island

Neil Island is easily accessible by regular ferry services of various categories from Port Blair or Havelock. Neil Island offers its unique appeal with some very popular beaches and crystal clear waters that resonate with millions of wildlife and exquisite corals. Nile Island came to be inhabited in the late 1960s. Apart from snorkeling and scuba diving, Neil Island also offers glass bottom boat rides to its guests who are not adventurous enough to enter the water but still want to enter the visually exciting world of corals and fishes.

Carved naturally by the force of the water over centuries, the limestone caves on Baratang Island are one of the best places to visit in the Andaman. Carved out of massive sedimentary rocks with countless glowing stalagmites and stalactites, these caves are undoubtedly nature's masterpieces that you cannot miss on your trip to the Andaman.

Baratang Island

This exotic island is famous for its exquisite secluded beaches, mangrove coves, mud volcanoes, and limestone caves – each of which is unique and worth a visit. The experience of mud volcanoes and limestone caves is so enigmatic that it is a must-see for the adventurous and brave. Guides are provided for exploring the limestone caves and permission is required from the Andaman Forest Department. Baratang Island's Nilambur Jetty has a boat ride of about an hour and a half across the wide bays to Naydera Jetty and then the caves are a kilometer and a half through the tropical forest. To reach the hidden natural jewels of Baratang Island, one has to pass through the Andaman tribal settlements. And the possibility of civilized intruders or tribesmen attacking guests and all the infamous stories visit Bartang even more adventurous and exciting. Baratang, despite all its notoriety, continues to attract many tourists and tourists. Visitors to this part of the archipelago get a chance to experience life in its primitive form and also get a rare chance to spend some time in harmony with nature and its wonders – enigmatic limestone caves and mud volcanoes. Baratang is located about 150 km north of Port Blair and can be reached by waterway through ferry services.

Cinque Island

This uninhabited island calls for a unique experience. The rocky islands and sandbars connecting the North and South Sink Islands are a treat for the senses. Virgin Beach attracts tourists from all over the world who want to escape from the culture and maddening crowds. The island offers snorkeling and diving in peace and solitude. Sport fishing for giant GTs, black marlins, and tiger cobras can be extremely exciting. Chartered boats from Port Blair reach Cinque Island. It is about 39 km from Port Blair.

Mount Harriet National Park

Mount Harriet National Park was established in 1969. Mount Harriet Peak, located in the park, is the third highest mountain peak in the Andaman archipelago. It is a forest reserve with mountain ranges and beautiful beaches. The infamous Kalapathar, which is bloody and still considered a curse, from where Indian prisoners under British rule were pushed to their gruesome deaths in the ravines, is located about 2 kilometers from the park. Thus when one treks across the park, one finds beautiful beaches, a wide variety of local flora and fauna, and colorful butterflies. Mount Harriet also harbors a tribal community in its depths who belong to the Negrito tribe and are hunters and foragers, leading a primitive life.

Panchvati Falls

Panchvati Falls is situated on the Panchvati hills and has a unique and beautiful location. Even though it is located 200 kilometers from Port Blair, the capital of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The waterfall falls from a great height and is a natural wonder. The beauty of the falls and the surrounding greenery attract tourists from far and wide. It is also an ideal place for trekkers and you need to wear comfortable shoes if you want to trek. Also, the waterfall water is inviting and if you are tempted to take a dip, carries an extra change of clothes. There is no set time or fee for entry or restrictions on entry. The location is ideal for nature photography, fishing, and savoring local culinary delicacies.
